Getting unstuck and moving forward with our goals can often seem daunting. There are many sticky things that bind us. There are our routines and habits, the needs of our loved ones, unexpected crises, losses and grief, approaching deadlines, and the daily demands of life and making a living.
There are times throughout the year and throughout our lives when we can more easily find the impetus to get unstuck. We are living through one of those times right now. Our routines have been shattered by unprecedented changes in the world. Mother nature is pressuring us to change. Are you ready?
Here are some tips that can help you prepare:
- Set Your Intentions Now. What would you like different in your life? Better health? Family harmony? Greater income? More friends? Learning to speak Spanish? Make a list of changes you would like see in your life.
- Write Your Intentions Down. Write a little bit about them every day. Imagine how fulfilling your intentions will feel. What will each one enable you to do, to be and to have? This is a powerful exercise. The more you do this, the better the results. Big vision counts! If you aim for the center of a target and miss, you may still hit the target. When you aim for the outer ring, you are likely to miss it all together.
- Don’t Worry About the How. Stay with the vision of achieving your intentions and the joy and excitement your vision generates. According to the law of attraction, like attracts like. When you are happy and excited, you attract events and others that have a similar vibration. This is where you will discover the how. Just trust and let the universe work its magic.
- Be Ready to Act. Opportunities may arrive in a variety of forms. Pay attention. Change cannot occur without taking action. This is where many of us can fall by the wayside. It is one thing to vision and a whole other thing to take action. Fear and self-doubt often sabotage our best of intentions. They not only keep us from taking action they can also attract our worse fears. Remember: Like attracts like. If you fear your spouse will criticize you, he/she will. If you fear failure, it will happen.
- Master Your Fears and Limiting Beliefs. To succeed with your intentions, you need to master both your emotions and negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will trigger fear and fear will trigger more negative thoughts. It can become an endless loop. Fortunately, it is possible to break this loop. It just takes a little guidance and practice.
Empowering people to master their emotions and negative beliefs is part of the work I do. If you would like to find out more, if you are ready to become unstuck and unstoppable, schedule a 15 minute conversation with me and find out how I can help you create the change you want to see.
